Pray and forget to worry

Run to His feet in a hurry

In turmoil be merry

In Jesus we find mercy

If I counted the battles

Victory would tattle

Of an enemy who is rattled

In Jesus, we are saddled

Seated in His glory

Purposed to live out stories

Of how He kept us when it was stormy

Who can be against us, if Jesus is for me?

When I speak chains are broken

Words covered in His blood as lotion

Even demons get the notion

In Jesus we have motion

To move forward specifically

Though Satan would have it differently

His hands are tied literally

In Jesus, we have the victory

Today, I am expecting the miraculous to take place. Each of us should expect a miracle every day, as we shed our flesh and cling to Jesus. The miracles may not always be tangible, but sometimes they are. Sometimes we can feel the weight of the fish from the Lord providing abundance, even though moments before there was nothingness. As the disciples mentioned obediently cast down their nets, yet another time, they were overwhelmingly blessed with more than enough. The blessing is manifold. Jesus appearing to them was the first miracle as he had been heinously crucified days prior. Secondly, His ability to produce abundance out of lack manifested in the obedience and faith of His disciples is amazing.

“Later, Jesus appeared again to the disciples beside the Sea of Galilee. This is how it happened. Several of the disciples were there—Simon Peter, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples.Simon Peter said, “I’m going fishing.” “We’ll come, too,” they all said. So they went out in the boat, but they caught nothing all night. At dawn Jesus was standing on the beach, but the disciples couldn’t see who he was. He called out, “Fellows, have you caught any fish?” “No,” they replied. Then he said, “Throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you’ll get some!” So they did, and they couldn’t haul in the net because there were so many fish in it.” John 21:1-6

It is noteworthy, that there weren’t just one, two, or even three disciples out trying to catch fish; there were seven of them. This explains why I can be surrounded by people and resources yet still remain stuck in my situation until God says it’s time and Jesus shows up, gives instructions, I OBEY, and overflow is accomplished. The only thing that changed about their situation on the water was the presence of the Son of God. Glory! Jehovah Jireh, asked them what they had accomplished on their own, knowing the answer and tested their faith in Him to try again this time by His strength, power, and direction.

Today, the Lord is going to blow my mind. He has been setting the stage to perform a miracle in my life and I know that today is the day I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Be Blessed saints. It has been a long, hard battle, but I’ve made it to the other side, with a greater relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, increased faith, and power to rebuke my flesh as well as any contradictory spirit that attempts to overtake me. Today is the day. In the name Jesus, Amen.

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13
