Our goal is to mirror faithfulness to God as He has miraculously exhibited His steadfastness from the very beginning. Would God keep His promises to His people for over 2000 years and stop today? God must do what is consistent with His character. He has been and will continue to be the self-sufficient all sustaining God. With these truths, my faith is so strong that mountains are at my command. There is absolutely no good thing that God will withhold from His chosen ones that are trusting, believing, and waiting for Him. He is a faithful God. I am tired of offending God by demanding instantaneous results with fickle faith. It is time to stop having a relationship with the King, yet lacking faithfulness, and believing ability. Every day, I must remind myself that what I see is temporary, and irrelevant. What I feel is not up for discussion. What God said is the final authority over my life. I challenge you to do a comparative analysis to what you see, what you feel, and what God said and let the Word of God have the final say. In the chart below, I list a few of the common sights and feelings that cause us to worry, doubt, turn back, or shut down.

Please note this is not an exhaustive list of situations, feelings, or God’s responses. It is a short collection of what I have experienced in my journey with the Lord. I have found that when the situations trigger the feelings, seemingly instantaneously, we have a short period that often escapes us, nevertheless, we are presented with options. We can either trust God or what we see and feel. Honestly, I began this blog days ago, but I fainted because of what I saw and felt and could not finish it, But, glory to God, I’m back up again. If you find yourself on your back, under a rock, or in a place you ordinarily wouldn’t be because of unbearable circumstances, I challenge you to get back up with me. I’m not an expert saying, “Get over it!” from a place of superiority and ignorance. NO! I am a woman who just got up minutes ago after being knocked down again by blow after blow to my emotional tender spots. I know what it feels like to be broke, tired of waiting, facing deadlines, unforeseeable outcomes that could be life changing, as well as having illnesses that will not leave. Get up! Brother and Sister. With tears in my eyes. I know this struggle hurts but God knows that even the hurt is working for our good. The pressure is not out of cruelty but rather loyalty to get His best out of us.

Did you notice that many of those situations produce the same emotions? Perhaps, Satan wants us to feel that way, no matter what the source, to produce the burned out, sat down, quieted believer effect. Beginning this very moment, I am going to do the opposite of what the feeling is telling me to do. Please continue to pray for me as well as the entire body of Christ as we fight for our costly peace in the name Jesus.
